Research
The working title for my dissertation is "Evaluating Capital Punishment in Pakistan: Special Reference to Shari’ah and International Human Rights Law”. The primary aim of this research is to analyze the potential for the abolition of capital punishment, with a special emphasis on Muslim states, notably Pakistan. My research focuses on Shari’ah (Islamic law), Human Rights Law, International Law, and particularly the analysis of human rights violations in Muslim-majority countries. This PhD research is funded by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
